Five sessions taking place “Around the Clock”, highlighting key Rhododendron biodiversity regions: Eastern North America, Western North America, Eastern Asia, Western Asia, & Europe. Sessions recorded for later viewing & featuring:

  • Keynote Speakers – major issues of interest to a general audience
  • Research Talks – 15 min. talks on research projects from each region
  • Virtual Poster Session – 5 min. highlight talks & virtual poster viewing room

8:30am-9am – Opening Ceremonies – Research Committee Chair Dr. Juliana Medeiros

9am-1pm – Eastern North America

3pm-7pm – Western North America (local time, Thursday May 29, noon-4pm)

9pm-1am – Eastern Asia (local time, Friday May 30, 9am-1pm)

Friday May 30, 2025

4am-8am – Western Asia (local time, Friday May 30, 1pm-5pm)

9am-1pm – Europe (local time, Friday May 30, 3pm-7pm)

1pm-1:30pm – Closing Ceremonies

Talks will take place via Zoom Webinar. Talks will be recorded and uploaded to the Rhododendron Research Network YouTube Channel for later viewing. Talks uploaded to YouTube will be searchable and publicly accessible.

Virtual Poster Viewing will be hosted on Rhododendron Research Network’s Virtual Poster Viewing Room, where they will be searchable and publicly accessible. Poster viewers can ask questions and engage with poster presenters using comment features on the website.
